Epson sponsors Griffith University’s College of Art

June 2007

Epson has become the major sponsor of the Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art Photography Department [QCAGU] and is now supporting all the Department’s photographic printing needs.

Epson’s Business Solutions, Business Unit Manager, Craig Heckenberg, said Epson has a strong and ongoing commitment to supporting education programs in photography and fine arts.

“We know it is vital for students to work with the best printers, inks and media to ensure they are fully competent with the equipment they are most likely to be working with when they start their careers,” Mr Heckenberg said.

Mr David Lloyd, senior lecturer at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, said through the generous support of Epson, students at the College now had access to the latest advanced ink and print technology.

“The generosity of Epson has ensured Griffith graduates remain up-to-date with technology and gives them a head start when they begin working in their respective professions,” Mr Lloyd said.

Epson’s support for QCAGU includes providing Epson Stylus Pro 9800, 7800, and 4800 printers, and 12 Stylus Pro 3800 printers along with technical advice and support.
