TIPA Award - Artisan 1430 - Best Expert Photo Printers 2012

Each year Technical Imaging Press Association (TIPA) recognises product excellence in the areas of quality, performance and value. This year the honour of Best Expert Photo Printer in Europe 2012 was bestowed upon Epson, for the Epson ArtisanTM 1430.

TIPA - the largest and most influential photo and imaging press association in Europe has awarded Epson at least one TIPA award every year since 2001 and in 2005 Epson received an astounding total of four awards.

This year, TIPA have chosen Epson’s ArtisanTM 1430 as the Best Expert Photo Printer in Europe 2012 for its unbeatable combination of convenience and superior specifications for high-quality, glossy photo output.

The Epson ArtisanTM 1430 is a wireless A3+ photo printer using Epson's Claria 6-colour dye-based ink-set. It delivers a resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi with a very small 1.5 picolitre droplet size, resulting in prints with extremely fine detail and very smooth gradation.

The TIPA jury especially noted the convenience of wireless connectivity – a feature not provided by competing A3+ photo printers. This allows the printer to be placed anywhere in the studio or workspace, plus it supports printing from iOS and Android devices via the Epson iPrint app.
