- Operation with media that has reduced heat tolerance (particularly water-impermeable vinyl and film stocks) may require fitting of an optional Media Spacer.
- This printer does not print borderless. Applications such as vinyl wall coverings and wallpaper production may require prints to be processed through a 3rd party edge cutter before use.
- Ink produces minimal smell however many production media types tend to produce an odour when heated. To ensure optimum equipment reliability, colour accuracy and print stability it is recommended that printers be operated within a temperature and humidity controlled environment. For operation within an office or studio environment it is recommended that air-conditioning have reasonable airflow.
- Epson Edge Print is an application built specifically for Windows OS. It is simple to use and offers access to the full capabilities of the print engine. Customers may choose to use alternative 3rd party RIP &/or workflow software however for compatibility information please contact the relevant suppliers directly. This printer ships pre-loaded with generic settings for a wide range of substrate types and print modes. Additional EMX print and media profile settings can also be downloaded through Epson Edge Dashboard. The EMX library is extensive and continues to expand, however Epson cannot guarantee that settings for a particular media type &/or print mode will be available at any particular time.
- Printers are supplied in Australia and New Zealand with a limited warranty which is augmented with a minimum of 1 year on-site CoverPlus. CoverPlus provides comprehensive parts and labour cover. Provision of service and support is conditional on a range of factors including activation of Epson Cloud Solution PORT, use of correct and genuine consumables, appropriate use and maintenance of equipment. It is also important to note that there are limits on the number of head replacements provided free of charge. This model supports user-replaceable print heads, conditional on activation of Epson Cloud Solution PORT and training being undertaken by the operator. | A Computer will be required for installation and operation of this printing system. The PC should have a minimum 2Ghz processor (3Ghz faster with separate GPU recommended), 8GB memory, a 250GB or larger HDD (1TB recommended), 1280x1024 or higher monitor, running 64bit Windows 7 or OS X/10.7 or greater. For optimum performance it is recommended that 1000Base-T Ethernet networking be employed. A network with external internet access will be required for installation, registration and software activation. Operation of Epson Cloud Solution PORT will require that the printer be connected to a network with internet access and the router configured for two-way data exchange. | |||

This printer is covered by a 30-day warranty that covers parts and labour. It is supplied with additional CoverPlus that extends cover to a total of 1, 3 or 5 years. Customers who need 2 or 4 year cover should purchase an additional 1 year of CoverPlus. Customers who order their printer with 1 or 3 year CoverPlus may extend cover through the purchase of one or more CoverPlus Packs within 365 days of the original installation (total cover may not exceed 5 years).
