Advanced 3LCD technology uses three individual LCD chips to continuously display 100% of the RGB colour signal for every frame. This allows for outstanding colour gamut while maintaining excellent brightness, without any rainbowing or colour brightness issues seen with other projection technologies.
True multi-array laser diodes produce an ideal light source to power the unique 3-Chip 3LCD Projector Engine for quick turn-on, incredible picture brightness, black contrast and colour consistency over the life of the projector.
Advanced pixel-shifting technology works in parallel with three individual high-definition LCD chips to produce an exceptionally sharp 4K (8.3 million pixels) image without sacrificing brightness. This is how the 4K experience was meant to be.
Our most advanced video processing technology to date, the proprietary 32-bit Epson Picture Processor handles real-time colour, contrast, HDR, frame interpolation and resolution enhancement to faithfully reproduce the source material the way it was intended to be shown.
Designed specifically for high-definition 4K HDR content, Epson precision lenses utilise Extra Low Dispersion (ED) Glass optics for exceptional brightness, colour accuracy and image detail.
Powered by the new Epson Picture Processor, the LS12000B can generate intermediate frames to improve overall motion fluidity and sharpness.

- 4K Resolution Enhancement Technology shifts each pixel to produce an image on screen, up to the stated specification.
- Colour brightness (colour light output) in brightest mode, measured by a third-party lab in accordance with IDMS 15.4. Colour brightness will vary depending on usage conditions. - There is no official standard for Input Lag measurement and this measurement is made based on the method set by Epson. Please note, each manufacturer measures Input Lag independently according to their own methods and therefore it is recommended to use as reference. Projector input lag varies in consequence of a difference of input signal, setting conditions and so on.
- 20,000 hours is the estimated projector life when Light Output is at 100%. Actual hours may vary depending on mode and usage environment.
