- PC Printing / Plain Paper default. Default mode is in accordance with ISO7779.

Good Quality, But Pricing and Features Need Re-Evaluation

The print quality of this Epson printer is excellent, and the setup process was seamless. The app is intuitive and well-designed, making printing from multiple devices easy. However, at nearly $1000, the overall experience is lacking in a few key areas. The limited paper storage max 20pages approx and the need to keep the exit tray open at all times are frustrating design choices. Additionally, the lack of A3 printing at this price point is disappointing. The quiet nature of the printer is truly outstanding - best feature!
Epson’s advertised warranty benefits, such as two years of ink and an extra year of warranty, were not included in my purchase—I’d like to know if Epson will honour these. Also, for a premium product, it’s unacceptable that they didn’t include even a small sample of photo paper. This seems like a missed opportunity to showcase the printer’s capabilities!
While the performance is solid, the pricing doesn’t quite justify the missing features and omissions in the package. Would appreciate clarification from Epson on the missing ink/warranty benefits.

Full of all the features I wanted

Just set up my new ET-8500. Is stylish and compact with a huge touch screen. Impressed wth the print quality and speed so far. Smart panel set up has been very helpful. Printer is full of all the features I wanted and excited to try them all out.

Compared with previous ink jet printers the new Epson ET-8500 that we have recently purchased produces excellent photo and text print. The ink tank will save us a considerable amount of money and males photo printing a lot more affordable.

Its all in one printer for all your office needs, its wireless, it has excellent photo printing quality, long lasting ink tank, its Eco Tank and it has nice neat design. Love this printer.
