The optional Stylus RIP colour proofing software turns the Stylus Photo R2400 into a PostScript compatible printer. Stylus RIP allows you to use the Stylus Photo R2400 as a network printer and includes a press simulation feature that matches three offset colour standards: SWOP, Euro Scale and DIC.
Network Server Function
Installing the Epson Stylus RIP* on a PC lets you use the computer as a network print server. This allows other computers to send print jobs to a special shared folder created on the PC with Stylus RIP software installed. Compatible with all Microsoft Windows Network and Mac OSX environments.
