Auto skew adjustment
One of the many useful functions built in to the scanning component of the Stylus CX7300 is the powerful Auto Skew Adjustment. Using intelligent software, this function automatically detects if a document or photo has been placed on the scanning surface at an angle and adjusts the scanned image for an accurate and straight print.
Epson Scan
One of the main features of any Epson scanner is Epson Scan, a powerful software tool that affords three distinct modes of operation — Full Auto, Home and Professional — each designed to match different levels of scanning skills. Along with features for automatic removal of image defects, such as dust and scratches, Epson Scan 3.2 includes:
- High Compression PDF — by analysing and separating the text area and background area, including photographs and diagrams, High Compression PDF enables file sizes that can be up to one–half that of conventional JPEG files.
- ICC Profile Embedding (TIFF and JPEG) — designed to improve poor colour management due to undefined colour space characteristics of the scanned image data.
