Intelligent ink system
The Epson Stylus C59 uses Epson's advanced Intellidge (Intelligent cartridge) technology, which works in tandem with the printer driver software to track automatically the amount of ink remaining in each of printer's four colour cartridges.
With the Intellidge ink system, users are able to swap over cartridges without losing the information – it's stored in the cartridges memory. This ensures that full cartridges can be used for continuous large print jobs, whilst partly used cartridges can be used for other smaller jobs. Maximum ink usage, maximum benefits.
Adding even further to the ink management intelligence of the Stylus C59 is the black ink save mode, which provides users with the option of extending black ink by mixing colours for a composite black output.
