A major contributing factor to the Epson EMP-TW1000's exceptional video quality is a new optical engine that reduces the colour aberration noticeable in earlier models. With a large aperture and Extra–low Dispersion lens, which is multi–coated to diffuse reflection, the Epson EMP-TW1000 delivers crystal clear images with high contrast levels.
Of particular note is the increase in number of micro lenses from 32 to 60. With each of the small lenses illuminating the LCD panels, there is a greater uniformity of lighting and dramatically improved evenness of colour.
