Built into the Epson Epson P-6000 Multimedia Storage Viewer is an impressive range of functions, each one designed specifically to enhance the digital photography workflow.
Folder browser function: Featuring three browser modes, the Epson Epson P-6000 Multimedia Storage Viewer can display a 4–by–3 thumbnail matrix, an 8–by–8 thumbnail matrix or a text–based explorer tree. When the unit's cursor is positioned over a thumbnail, information is superimposed to display the file size and creation date.
Zoom In/Zoom Out function: Using the Epson Epson P-6000 Multimedia Storage Viewer's four – way scroll button, users can quickly and accurately select a specific area of an image on which to zoom in at up to 400 per cent*. From there, it's a one-button press to return to the original size.
*JPEG images only. RAW data can be viewed at up to 100 per cent of the image size.
Editing functionality: A new feature that guides users step-by-step through pre-defined workflows for direct editing and manipulation of images. Adding even greater benefit is the unit’s support for on-screen editing of RAW and JPEG files without a PC/Mac connection.
Print Wizard and PictBridge: A sophisticated yet easy to use in-built program designed to allow photographers to create custom prints from the multimedia viewer for direct printing to any PictBridge compatible printer.
Colour space detection: the Epson Epson P-6000 Multimedia Storage Viewer is able to detect colour spaces from both Exif and supported file formats, allowing for more accurate display of the image’s colour.
Hard disk drive lock: For improved security, the Epson Epson P-6000 Multimedia Storage Viewer features a password-based hard disk drive lock.
