ReadyPrint is currently available for business use only. You will need a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) in order for us to verify your eligibility for the ReadyPrint program.

To complete your registration for ReadyPrint, you will need an Epson Global ID (EGID), your full name, company name, Australian Business Number (ABN), address, email address and phone number. In order to activate your plan, you must also connect to the internet upon set up and continue to be connected when using the printer.

The Epson Global ID is a single-sign-on feature that allows you to use multiple services provided by the Seiko Epson Group. When subscribing for a ReadyPrint plan, you will be asked to sign up for an Epson Global ID (EGID). To obtain an EGID, please register as a member according to the procedures. If you have already obtained an EGID, you can subscribe for the ReadyPrint Plan with your EGID and EGID password.

Your current Epson printer will not be compatible with our ReadyPrint plans. In order to use a ReadyPrint plan, you must sign up through the ReadyPrint website.

To use ReadyPrint services, you must ensure your printer is connected to the internet at all times. This will also ensure that you receive your replacement ink bottles before your printer runs out and confirms that your printer firmware is always up to date.

Setting up my ReadyPrint printer

Printer
Once you've received your ReadyPrint EcoTank printer, please keep it connected to the internet. Please follow prompts to update your firmware. This will ensure Epson can send more ink when you need it.

Ink
Use the ink bottles supplied with the printer. Please use up all the ink in the bottles before moving on to new bottles. New ink bottles will be delivered before the previous ink runs out.

To ensure that the ReadyPrint service performs at its best, you need to follow the below steps to install the latest firmware.
  1. Turn on your Epson printer and ensure it is connected to the internet.
  2. A firmware update should pop up on your screen when there is a new version of firmware.
  3. Install the new firmware by following the on-screen instructions (the update can take up to 15 minutes to complete).
Be aware that you will not be able to print as the firmware is updating and that all queued print jobs will be cancelled.
Do not turn the printer off, unless you are instructed to do so during the update process.

About my ReadyPrint plan

We are notified when your printer is running low on ink. Replacement ink is delivered immediately and you will always have enough ink to print the pages in your plan.

Replacement ink is only delivered when more ink is needed for you to print the pages in your plan. This means that the timing will depend on your usage.

You can see how many pages you have printed by logging onto your account.

Double-sided A4 pages will be counted as 2 pages and as A3 pages are twice as big as A4 pages, A3 pages will also be counted as 2 pages in your ReadyPrint plan.

An additional charge of $1.99 for every 100 pages (or part thereof) above your page limit will be added to your next ReadyPrint bill.

Pages cannot be rolled over to the following month.

The allowance is specific to the individual printer and cannot be shared with other printers.

ReadyPrint ink bottles are intended to be used with the printer registered to your plan.

ReadyPrint plans are locked into a 24 month term. Early cancellation or changes to plans will incur a fee.

When your subscription ends, we'll send you a return label so you can easily return the printer to us, in either its original box or in a safe packaged manner back to us.

You can find out about the cost of our plans and printers at epson.com.au/readyprint/.

Our ReadyPrint plans include the use of an EcoTank printer1, warranty, automatic delivery of ink2 direct to your business' door and all shipping costs for the duration of your plan.

Payment term shall be set 10 days after the date of your registration into the ReadyPrint plan. If the billing date is on a day not available in all months (i.e. 31st), the payment day will be the last day of those months which are missing such days.

Replacement ink bottles are sent to you automatically when your printer tells Epson your ReadyPrint EcoTank printer is running low on ink. Epson may send ink bottles in advance so please store these until your printer advises that a refill is needed.

Whether you print documents or photos, black or colour, every side of a page that the printer completes printing counts as a page in your allowance. Note that a page printed on both sides and a single-sided A3 page will both be counted as two pages in your ReadyPrint plan.

Epson shall own any Subscription Hardware (Printer) and Consumables (Ink Bottles) provided to you under the Terms of the ReadyPrint plan. You will be required to return the ReadyPrint Printer back to Epson within 14 days after your initial cancellation.

A cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel your subscription plan earlier than 24 months. You will be requested to pay a cancellation fee of 80% of the balance of the remaining monthly payments of your plan, which is a capped amount depending on the applicable ReadyPrint plan.

For example,
Scenario: A customer pays a monthly ReadyPrint Plan fee of $24.99 for the ET-3800 Printer Plan, on a 24 month Term.

Example 1: A customer cancels their ET-3800 Printer Plan in Month 2. Usually, they would need to pay 22 months' worth of subscription fee (22 x $24.99 = $549.78), but because the maximum amount cancellation fee we are charging is $200.00, you only have to pay $200.00.

Example 2: A customer cancels their ET-3800 Printer Plan in Month 20 and only has 4 months of the plan remaining. They would therefore pay $79.97 (80% of 4 x $24.99) as this is lower than the capped $200.00.

Printer Plan and Device Maximum Amount of Cancellation Fee
ET-3800 $200.00
ET-4850 $200.00
ET-5800 $300.00
ET-16600 $300.00

You cannot transfer the ReadyPrint Plan to a non-registered Device or to another company; however, if you have access to the registered EGID account, you may change the full name and email address registered to the account.

Our ReadyPrint ink bottles are made from polypropylene, which can only be recycled via Close the Loop recycling programs. For your nearest Close the Loop recycling collection bin location, please visit https://closetheloop.com.au/collection-program/.

1 As outlined in the ReadyPrint Terms and Conditions, an EcoTank printer will be delivered to you for your use throughout the duration of your plan and you must return the printer back to Epson Australia at the end of your ReadyPrint plan.

2 Epson endeavours that the required ink to print those pages will be delivered to you before the existing ink bottle will run out. For full details, please visit our Terms and Conditions.
