Epson, a United Nations Global Compact signatory since 2004, is committed to over 150 initiatives aligned with all 17 of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals for the environment, our communities and society at large. Almost 80,000 Epson employees worldwide stand together in support of sustainability and the health of our global environment.

Epson and the Environment
Epson will become carbon negative and underground resource free by 2050. We established our global Environmental Vision 2050, which set our environmental goals out to the year 2050.

Our Local Initiatives
Recognising that the earth's carrying capacity is limited and believing that everyone must share responsibility for reducing environmental impacts equally, Epson takes an active role in driving environmental initiatives to achieve continual improvement.

Our Innovative Solutions
At Epson, we know that planning for the future requires a strong commitment to the environment. That is why we strive to create innovative products that are reliable, recyclable and energy efficient. Better products that use fewer resources help to ensure a better future for us all.

Building Responsible Supply Chains
The ideals of our sustainability vision cannot be realised by Epson alone. We continue to engage our stakeholders, suppliers, business partners and people in the communities in which we operate in dialogue and action to enlist their co-operation.
