Fast printout of photos, good to print DVD labels
The printout quality of photos on Premium Glossy Photo paper was excellent. The printout time for A4 photos (the only size I have tried to date) was quicker than printers I have had in the past (I have had several brands).
I also use printers to print labels for DVDs of videos of my trips. I like to be able to design my own label and not be limited to a template as I had on one past printer.
I was initially concerned at the cost of the ink cartridges until I saw how big they were. They should last some time. I print out many photographs of my trips, so I need the ink to last some time.
I will reserve the A3 size for very special photos

The Epson R3000 printer is a delight to use.
After setting up the printer, which was quick and easy following instructions, I have been very please with the quality of A3 prints so far and smaller sizes, although I expect the printer will be able to produce even better print results once it has been calibrated with my my new monitor. I fully recommend the printer to photographers who want quality results, and it is especially quiet during printing, which is a bonus. Well made and solid, but not too heavy to move around.

CD issues do have an answer
After ordering this printer online it arrived within the advertised time frame. The printer arrived beautifully packaged - which is very reassuring. However, CD would not load into my computer - CD is not the issue I suspect the disk is. That said, tech support over the phone was quick and an effective work around was found within 12 minutes. I have requested a copy of a new CD, which I would expect to be sent via snail mail. And the prints from the printer - a thing of beauty.

Great Product
Installation was quick and easy. Followed the instruction and it did just what was printed on them
