R3000 Epson - Excellent Product
I bought this Printer in May 2014 I have used many printers over the years. This was very simple to setup and install.
Software went in very easily. Didn't take long at all. The priming of the ink lines when install ink does take awhile.
The print quality was fantastic. Very happy with the product.
Worth a try for sure

The quiet achiever
After a month of printing (on archival Matte paper to avoid constant changing of inks) I am exceptionally pleased with my purchase. Wether I print in colour or B&W I have not yet been disappointed. My prints have been crisp, clear with good colour tone and saturation.
My only disappointment was the first set of inks, the Yellow was empty after the first print, but you are advised of shorter use with filling of the tubes using some ink. Second set are lasting longer. I have saved the prints I want on Glossy for later to do all at once to cut sown on the loss over changing blacks.
Setting up the home network was simple with all my pc's picking up the R3000 on Ethernet. Wi-Fi allowed a laptop to connect without any issue.

This product produces quality results
I couldn't wait to start using my new printer and when I did I was amazed with the printing quality produced. I wanted to start printing my own photographs with a professional finish and got exactly what I hoped for.

Best Buy in years
My wife and I were intrigued by the possibility to have finally, access to an almost professional level printer at the palm of our hands.
Being two individuals fully submersed in Visual contents (I am a photographer and she is a graphic designer) we wanted a printer that could fit all of our purpose and could fit in our one bedroom apartment too... well with the R3000 was mission accomplished!
From my experience I can say the tonality of the colour prints on any of the glossy, super glossy and semi glossy papers were just perfect and real, not too saturated and not too flat.
Also the Black and white prints are just phenomenal and of a close resemblance to my silver gelatine prints I do in the darkroom, of course providing you choose the right type of paper and good ICC profiles.
The only reason why I don't give it a full of house 5 star rating is purely cause the ink tanks are yes bigger than any other prosumer or consumer level printers on the market but, not enough to suffice the big cost of actually buying the printer itself and having a long term saving.
