Best scanner for beginners and professionals.
The Epson V600 wasn't my first choice of scanner but shipping and vendor problems with another brand led me to research and find this model online as an alternative. And I feel I made the better choice on the V600.
After downloading the current software and drivers with quick help from the Epson support team I was able to be up and scanning very quickly. A bit of a steep learning curve for one who has not scanned film and slides before but a few test scans with help from the online guides produced excellent results. The quality I am getting from scanning 50 year old transparencies is outstanding. And learning more about all the settings as I go further into my projects.
I highly recommend this scanner for amateur and professional photography enthusiasts.

Great product so easy to set up
Unpacked and set up was a breeze, comes with a disc but as setting up on laptop had to download drivers etc and it was easy, didnt even bother to read instructions. Scanned photos again didnt need to read instructions.

Great for film negatives
Good quality output. Great for 35mm film and slides, but disappointed it does not do 6mm X 10mm old style negatives. Only goes to 6 X 9, so I have to lose part of my photo.
