Many steps to make the scanner work with Mac computer
There have been too many steps and extra downloads needed to be compatible with my Mac Computer Mac 10.15.6 Catalina. The information is not included in pre-purchase of item. Had I known I would not have purchased this scanner.

Great for converting old negatives and historical documents to digital format
I do a reasonable amount of work on family history and as such I needed a reliable, versatile scanner for a host of applications. In short the V600 was the most obvious answer, because it met all my requiremeents. The package allows me to scan old negatives and it also comes with Photoshop elements, which is a simple and effective way to restore photos straight from a negative. Those long birth certificates can also be scanned in sections and then stitched together. There isn't much the V600 can't do - worth the investment.

Easy to instal and become productive quickly
Only took about one hour to unpack, set up, load software and scan my first photo. The software is intuitive for an intermediate level user. The output was as I expected re quality and met expectations.
