New Archival Inks
Each pigment particle in our revolutionary new ink is encapsulated within a layer of polymerized resin that ensures extremely uniform particle dispersion for reduced graininess. In addition, the resin fuses the ink to the print media, forming a super-smooth surface as the ink sets. This reduces reflected light diffusion, maintaining high chroma for bright, vivid colour.
Print directly on 1.5mm Poster Board
Thanks to its innovative straight paper path, the Epson STYLUS PRO 9500 offers something truly unique - the ability to print directly on poster board as thick as 1.5mm. With this kind of media handling flexibility, you can produce display-ready boards as large as 1030 x 728mm (40 x 28") in-house.
Print on 1118mm-Wide Roll Paper
Big jobs are a piece of cake for the Epson STYLUS PRO 9500 because it accepts roll paper up to 1118mm (B0+) wide, and has a print area 20cm wider than 914mm (A0) printers. With this level of capacity you'll be able to create the kind of big, high-impact items that used to be impossible to produce in-house. AcuPhoto Halftoning

It is equipped with ECP parallel and high-speed Macintosh serial interfaces, and offers multiprotocol auto interface recognition. Combining the beauty of Epson 6-colour halftoning technology with the power of Fiery PostScript colour server performance, it is a system that defines a new standard in professional colour printing performance. The server features a 200MHz 64-bit RISC CPU with a dedicated LX RIP chip, 128Mb RAM and a 4GB hard disk, and offers blazingly fast image processing and throughput. Support for industry-standard colour proofing targets includes EuroStandard, SWOP and DIC. You can also calibrate your own colour targets using the ColorWise application program that comes bundled with the Fiery RIP Server.
