Designed for both Microsoft Windows 3.x/95 and Mac® OS 8.1 to 9.X, the Epson Stylus COLOUR 800 also features network connectivity (optional connectivity interfaces are available) and optional software PostScript RIP (CPSI). By installing CPSI, the printer is able to provide PostScript colour printer emulation.

The multi-platform and networking compatibility of the Epson Stylus COLOR 800, coupled with the unique Epson PerfectPicture Imaging System and AcuPhoto Halftoning technologies provides a significant step forward in business document production. It represents a flexible printing solution for workgroups requiring equal flexibility in their printing.

Performance features of the Epson Stylus COLOR 800 include speeds which eclipse many desktop laser printers - as well as an amazing photo-quality resolution of 1440 by 720 dpi.

As with both the Epson Stylus COLOR 400 and 600, the Epson Stylus COLOR 800's in-built technologies mean that it is able to generate photo-quality output without the need to purchase additional options such as photo ink cartridges.
