Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent scanner for home use. I am using this scanner for docs, drawings, photographs, mounted and unmounted positive film, B&W negative film (produces positive scans), coulered docs, from books and have been very pleased with the results. Some of the transparencies were taken in the early and mid 60s and the colour correction and rear light correction he;p to produce very good scans. The ability to crop and adjust the brightness, colour and contrast is very useful as well. An excellent product for my purpose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I need to read the instructions in full! My son helped me choose and set up the scanner to archive historic slides and photos. Very clear results when scanned slides were opened in iPhoto or Preview but the stored images were extremely pixellated when attempting to send by email. Now I must read the instruction manual in full to try to overcome this problem.
