Hard to install the driver no support from Epson
It was very time consuming and frustrating to install the driver. The website given in the manual kept taking to me a fraud site. Very few devices these days have a CD driver yet I only had a CD that came with the scanner. So I had to source an external CD player/writer which too extra days. It was almost impossible to get any assistance from Epson when I encountered problems.

Time Saver Extraordinaire. FAST and reliable.
This scanner has been a life saver. I have been methodically reducing the paper documents we keep in the office and have converted years upon years (20+ years so far) of technical records to PDF. Scanning double sided to editable PDF at about 1-2 seconds per sheet, depending on the content, is extraordinary. We are about half way through and already it makes the office look clean and uncluttered, not to mention how great it is to be able to search the editable PDF the Epson software produces. It really has been one of our best purchases for the office.
