Introducing the GT-7000 - the scanner that allows you to scan at the touch of a button! Simply press the 'start' button on the scanner and the scanner launches the program and loads the image.
The Epson GT-7000 is a 36-bit colour scanner with an optical resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi, and a maximum hardware resolution using the Micro Step Drive. It has maximum output resolution of 9600 dpi and delivers more than 68 billion colours.
The GT-7000 can achieve a resolution with an enhanced resolution. This means that documents will look their best - smooth edges on line art, true-colour photographs and crisp, sharp print.
With the optional Film Adapter, the GT-7000 can scan negatives and slides. It can scan up to four negatives at a time with true-photographic results. The GT-7000 also acts as a fast scanner with the option of the Automatic Document Feeder. This means that customers can scan single-sheet documents while the scanner is unattended.
The GT-7000 comes bundled with a range of software including:
- Xerox TextBridge Classic - Advanced optical character recognition (OCR) software to convert documents to text data.
- Adobe PhotoDeluxe - Image manipulation software that allows you to enhance and change images.
- Adobe PageMill - Software that allows you to easily create and modify your own web pages.
- Epson Personal Copy - Software that allows you to integrate with Epson printers to act as a colour-photocopying system.
- Epson Photo Sheet - Allows you to print scanned images in various sizes on a single sheet of paper.
