Powerful for the price.
Great unit to use with excellent results. I was recently called upon to scan hundreds of our family history slides and photos and this scanner proved well up to the task. I have had it for over two years with not a problem and it is still going strong. It was easy to install and easy to use. Definitely worth considering.

Excellent quality and value for money
After using this scanner at the Museum of Perth in Western Australia to archive slides, I decided there must be thousands of people in the community that have important images! These should be stored and shared for future generations as every one has a story to tell...!!!

Ok for first photo/film scanner.
A solid product, robust and easy to use after installation, as with so many products today, manual is written by those who develop the product, and because of this, leaves some of us grasping for meaningful explanations and interpretations of manual directions.
I would NOT recommend this MODEL for those with a lot of photos and negatives to copy. Although quality is good, 6 negs at a time is all it accommodates, and is slow from commencement to final product. i.e., photo. There are more expensive and no doubt faster models available for assessment.
