A good all rounder
Having used this product for a few years now I am satisfied with it's functionality. It's done a good job with all the features I've tried out. Some of the software has been good fun too, I particularly like the ABBYY OCR package although it sometimes gets characters wrong so you have to read through documents and make corrections.

This product was an upgrade from another Epson product with new-improved features.
I have had to rebuild my computer when C Drive failed without a proper backup file system and reload software to deal with latest operating system. After 2 years scanner service the Epson V330 Photo re-installation was straight forward and instructions easy to follow. Need to rescan 35mm colour slides (2000 of them) lost in the process. I use the OCR facility often to transfer sections of paper based reports into new reports.

Brief problem experience with scanner - Now solved.
Have used an Epson scanner for many years. Switched to a 64 bit machine and my still functioning scanner could not be transferred. Purchased the V330. Worked for a while but after a computer crash could not reload it. Used it on a Vista computer. Wrote to Epson but they could not help. Tried many things as recommended on the net but none worked. Upgraded to Windows 8 today and reloaded the scanner successfully at last.

Easy and simple to use with a great outcome
I am extremely happy with this purchase. The scanning of old photos from the 40's have turned out great.
