This product is fast and reasonably easy to use.

This product is handy as my purpose is to scan hundreds of my Parents old photos to share with my family. The only negative is the AC adaptor is not included in the package. I've found that the batteries do not last very long so will be looking at purchasing the adaptor.

A nifty scanner for small businesses

When portability is of primary importance, then this scanner is indeed a good option. Standard scanning features with Epson's software, and it pretty much does the job of scanning documents and receipts. (Thank you for the marker that clips in for particular document sizes) Battery life is indeed impressive.
In terms of future revisions; it would be great to see a USB C version. Taking it through an airport in today's world will require you to throw away the AA cell batteries, unfortunately. I wish a lightweight power adaptor came along with the pack or an integrated Lithium battery model.

Brought this product by mistake. Was trying to get the higher end photo model. Would have thought scanning would have been easier by this day and age.
